About Brut Force
Brut Force is dedicated to curating, electronically publishing, and developing a national online archive of Outsider and Self-Taught Art.
Brut Force’s mission is to increase the salience of outsider artists while promoting wider understanding, contemplation, and acceptance of their works. Our content includes: artist profile human interest stories; interviews with academics, experts, and professionals; images of outsider artwork; analysis of specific outsider art works and exhibits; coverage of outsider art events; and additional exciting events in the field.
We aspire to cover the breadth of Outsider Art in its most widely defined sense by emphasizing the manifestations of self-taught art across the country.
As a member of our online community, Brut Force hopes that you fall in love with an artist’s works creative process, become an expert on how different exhibits are curated, and better develop your own taste around emerging trends in outsider art.
If you would like to learn more, or are interested in contributing to our community, please don’t hesitate to contact us at email@example.com.
